Lead came

With introduction course in stained glass, we learned the basic things to know about glass working.

We will work this time the lead came: ancient technique of stained glass, which has historically preceded that of the copper tape.

By this technique, we know including the church windows, we will learn to connect our glasses with lead rods: profiles of H-shaped lead which then will be welded at each intersection.

And finally, it will proceed with grouting: operation giving the window sealing and rigidity

Materials provided with a choice of glass to achieve one of our six design.
