Initiatic work that we find in a number of tales; select, separate the good seed from the bad, which means : obtaining enough of judgement to make things happen on a good level. When, faced to a question, a problem, a choice, we just do not know where to go, thinking deeply (the doll said to Vassilissa to go to sleep); the inconscient working during that time brings the solution.

Once again, we have to be confident in that part of the psyche (the doll knows), the whitch Baba Yaga is asking to make the different elements, to distinguished the feeding, the healing from what has to be rejected.
